Pankh Udaan Ek Umeed Ki Trust, founded in 2018, is dedicated to addressing social injustice and supporting marginalized individuals. Rooted in the principles of service, equality, and compassion, the trust’s vision is to promote national integration and social harmony. Initially, the organization focused on grassroots efforts such as aiding the homeless, organizing blood donation drives, and conducting funeral rites for unclaimed bodies. Over time, its initiatives expanded to include women’s empowerment, environmental sustainability, and enhancing access to education and healthcare. At its core, the trust aims to uplift those facing poverty and social exclusion, ensuring they have the resources and opportunities to lead dignified lives. By promoting social harmony, Pankh Udaan Ek Umeed Ki strives to build an inclusive and compassionate society where every individual, regardless of background, is valued and supported. Since its inception, the trust has reached significant milestones through impactful programs like Project Udaan, which focuses on women’s empowerment through education and healthcare; the Pankh Udaan Cycle Yatra, promoting environmental conservation; and Kapda Bank, providing warm clothing to those in need during winter. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the organization extended crucial support by distributing care kits and setting up temporary shelters for migrant workers. Pankh Udaan’s work now encompasses a wide range of services, from supporting the homeless and mentally ill to advocating for women’s rights and environmental protection.
